Service Description
Individualised support for families whose children are finding school attendance difficult because of anxiety, unmet needs, emotional distress or other barriers to feeling safe and able to attend. Work begins by exploring the child's experience, identifying potential triggers and understanding the interaction between home, school and wider needs. Support may include preparing for school meetings, developing practical recommendations, helping families document concerns, contributing to an individualised support plan and navigating appropriate referrals where further assessment or specialist input may be needed. Where agreed, support can include liaison with school to encourage a consistent, child-centred approach. Indicative fee depending on the scope of support
